Snickery

Today Snickery died. She joined us on Christmas 6 years ago, and her health hasn't been good for a while: she has had a large tumor on her back for over a year. We were surprised she outlived Twix, and with the loss of Twix, we thought she wouldn't last much longer. Farewell loyal guinea pig.

Fond memories include her being a "free-range" guinea pig and running all over the family room, under the couches, etc. and was litter-box trained. That lasted until we found quarter sized holes in the carpet that she had chewed. She would eat out of our hands and was particularly fond of carrot, cucumber peelings, dandelion weeds, and cantaloupe rind.

We will miss you Snickery.
