Spring Break Adventures
While Dad worked, the girls played. We went camping at Cape Lookout and Fort Stevens, and spent a few days in Portland with Aunt Linda. We saw everything in between. Highlights included the the OSU lambing barn, the Tillamook Cheese Factory, Fort Clatsop (where Lewis and Clark spent a very wet winter), Fort Vancouver (the Hudson Bay Company headquarters for fur trapping), the Columbia Gorge, the Tulip Festival, OMSI, oh . . . and finding footed pajamas for S.
The cabin at the campground at Cape Lookout. Hey, it's called "Camping Lite", really. Good thing because it was REALLY cold, and wet, and windy.
The Yurt at Fort Stevens. Another good thing because it snowed two inches!
Fort Clatsop in the snow.
Cape Kiwanda sand dunes.
Wooden Shoe Tulip Farms. We were there the 30 minutes that it wasn't raining. Lucky Us!

It looks like you saw many interesting places and survived the cold. A very fine vacation from school. We loved the pictures of the girls.
How Fun! Oh how I miss it there. I have been wishing for a beautiful spring...but then I have to remember where I live!!!
I've been wishing for a beautiful spring, too (it's still raining and cold in PDX). But there some rumors going around that we might get one before it turns back into winter again. Hope so - because I bought a fancy new seat for my bike a few weeks ago and I've yet to try it out. So sad.
