To conclude their study of Oregon History, the fourth grade had a hoedown. They made covered wagons and each provided a miniature object that a pioneer would take across the plains. We made soap.

Wow! What a beautiful girl. Is it really Ariana--she looks so grown-up. Where did she get the pretty dress? And the covered wagon is a masterpiece. School looks like a lot of fun as well as a great learning experience. Keep sending pictures on your blog because love them.
I borrowed the dress from school. Mom "fixed" it up for me because it had a lot of holes and things to fix up.
