January thoughts

We got a new canoe for Christmas. This red one is plastic and has built in flotation so it won't sink, unlike our other one, which has been rescued a few times already (after heavy rain).


We went to the Gilbert Discovery Village in Salem (Oregon). Here is M in the bubble room


We looked for whales near the Sea Lion Caves. Well, we saw lots of Sea Lions, and a really cool bird that we needed Grandpa L to help us identify. Maybe next time.


I hung a rope in the Lake Shack for a rope swing, which was a huge hit.
