updates

You would think we run a lot. The girls ran a race on Saturday -- S ran a half mile: ran the whole way, and came in 2nd of all the girls in her race. A and M ran 3K (about 1.8 miles) and ran strong. M was the first 8 year old across the line, and A showed loyalty in walking with a friend who cramped up.

S with her ribbon.

The day before the above race the girls participated in the jog-a-thon fundraiser for their school. Both A and M ran 2 miles.

M lost her first tooth just weeks before her 8th birthday. She is so excited. And Happy Birthday to Her!

Here we are with Benica at the Portland Marathon. G had a great run and I never got a good shot of him. He said it was his favorite marathon run. He achieved the high goal of a negative split -- where the first half is run slower than the second half.
