Spring Break

The advantage of the Lake House is that G can come even when he is working, as was the case over Spring Break. The girls and I spent the week out there, and G was able to join us Monday night, Tuesday night and most of Wednesday.

They had a great time scooting down the hill near the house:



We went hiking at Cape Perpetua and had a snack in the back of the car.



In other news, G runs his 10th marathon on Saturday with Scott in SLC. If you happen to live near there, please consider cheering for him. He's long dreamed of family being able to cheer for him at a marathon, so don't let him down! He is excited to spend 4 hours with his brother. I wonder what they will talk about. Perhaps it will be like a long car ride . . .


Great comment from Siena: "Am I starting up the hill?" We couldn't figure out what she meant until she finally explained it this way: "Daddy is over the hill, so am I starting up it?"
